• Decided in principle 2026-08-30 (formal written ruling pending): the no-bots-in-Connect-channels rule narrows to no-LLM-agents/no-generated-text ever (Kilroy + Tag stay out categorically). Opens: portal-triggered announcer bot (frozen templates, human Post-to-channel clicks, hardcoded channel-to-account map) + Slack Workflow Builder request forms (reschedule/cancel/hold - officially supported for external users) + account-scoped cert-link self-serve (unlikely.report links) + the needs lane (per-need template posts with upload links replacing manual Teams asks; pier-log posts autonomous per existing SMS precedent, photo/doc posts human-click). Platform facts verified in Slack docs: slash commands/shortcuts dead for externals, buttons work, button-to-modal needs a live test.
